Yesterday, I didn’t have internet all day. I ALWAYS post an instant preview image for my clients, so I went to a friend’s house to quickly upload a couple of pictures for Sydney. But now I have to come back and share a little more from this session. The first time we tried to do a photoshoot of Rudy, he was one month old. We had to cancel because he wasn’t sleeping well. We met at the reservoir yesterday where I did Chris and Sydney’s engagement pictures to capture Rudy at almost 4 months. He was very sleepy and as Sydney said “didn’t crack one smile the entire time”. But these images capture Rudy precisely as he was yesterday. As I told Sydney, we did a photo shoot of my girls as babies. By the time the photographer got to us, Chloe & Casey were done! They cried and didn’t smile at all. I never ordered the pictures because they didn’t smile in them. I so wish I had ordered the pictures because I’m sure I would love them, even more, today than the ones from the shoots that went “perfectly”. Our lives are always perfectly imperfect. Moments come and go and are so precious. These pictures made me smile so much and even laugh. Rudy’s expressions are priceless and I’m sure these pictures will be one day as well.+4
