Instagram Vs Reality? Why can’t we have both! This shoot was one of a kind. It could have been a disaster, but it was a total win thanks to Kaylee & Greg! Because of the heavy rains the day before, the farm was wet. Because of the time of day, we had limited space to shoot. So we had one little space next to the freshly plowed field to take pictures. About 10 minutes into our shoot, Griffin ran out into the field with Kaylee running after him. They both sank into the gooey mud! Kaylee & Greg didn’t get mad; they just laughed and got the baby wipes from the car. Pretty much immediately after that, Griffin face-planted into the mud! No joke! Again, we all just laughed. Kaylee gave Griffin & Lillian “gummy breaks” and kept the mood fun. We just kept going! Finally, they brought out Griffin’s tractor. Little did they know the battery was dead. It didn’t matter. They rolled with the punches and kept the children having fun. They just made the best out of everything and didn’t focus on the things that went wrong. As a result of their awesome attitudes, we were able to get beautiful portraits of their family. I included some of the moments I described because they are all a part of the story. That story is called “real life”. I love it!
