I think I’ve mentioned this before, but there’s such an instant familiarity when I photograph people from Martin County. We always feel like old friends. This was the case yesterday. I went to Williamston to photograph Allie Johnson. We headeded to her neighbor’s historic home. The treelined driveway, big trees, a grapevine, pond and tons old barnes were the perfect backdrop for Allie’s senior portraits. Allie is gorgeous, sweet and smart. She’s finishing out her senior year at Beaufort Community College where she is also working to go ahead and obtain her CNA degree. Once she graduates, she plans to move on to get her nursing degree. Photographing her was an absolute joy! Just look at her eyes and dimples! Here are some of my favorites!
