Hey friends! Welcome to my website! I’m a natural light photographer
based in Rocky Mount NC. I enjoy taking relaxed pictures that capture
the true personality of my subjects. As someone who knows how
intimidating it can be in front of the camera, I try my best to make
everyone feel comfortable from behind the camera. I use light-hearted
and creative techniques to help you get comfortable and have some fun.
This lets me capture you in happy and authentic moments, allowing your
natural joy to shine in your photos!

I love to become quick friends with my subjects and consider our
sessions together a chance to get to know one another and have a good
time. My style as a photographer is very organic and I like to
prioritize laughter and quality photos in my sessions! With me, you
can let down your guard and just have fun, because I will be doing the

There are moments in life that stop you in your tracks. They make you pause and think “remember this moment, the feelings, the details & really take it all in”. Yesterday was one of those times.

Chloe & William fell hard for each other just six months ago. We immediately knew that he was a good man and would hold, protect & treasure Chloe’s heart with all he had. Of course, as a photographer, I live for personal moments like this! I get to personally tell the stories of my family & friends through photographs.

William’s shop is at Tuckahoe. He took Chloe there to look at some of his special projects and then walked her over to watch the sunset and have Chick fil A. Casey, Mark, Piper & I hid on the side of the house. We waited and waited. Finally, they walked up the path and began to place blankets down for their picnic. William pondered with me earlier that they may sit and talk a while before he proposed but as soon as the last blanket touched the ground, he was down on one knee! I had to move quickly! I had my camera on silent. Casey, Piper & Mark stayed to the side of the house. I slowly walked right up and around them shooting away as he asked. She jumped up and down. She cried. She told him she loved him. They hugged over and over. All this as I stood right there shooting and she didn’t even notice me! Finally, Mark let Piper free and she interrupted their moment to get her love and kisses! Chloe was so thrilled to see us all there & William was just giddy grinning ear to ear. It was definitely one of those moments!

We spent some time at Tuckahoe getting engagement portraits done and hearing the story of how William went to Dallas to make the ring. We took special note of the handmade ring box. Made of mahogany, ebony, and maple, it was the perfect showcase for his labor of love. Finally, we joined William’s parents, Gregg & Steve at their wonderful home for a perfect evening on the porch. We enjoyed Gregg’s amazing cooking, laughing, singing, and just taking it all in. It’s definitely the beginning of something wonderful. God is good.
