Maybe it was because he was giving her hand in marriage or because he knew she would soon move out of the country, but there was so much love and emotion on Kelsey’s daddy’s face when he walked her down the aisle Saturday. It was so touching. You see, Kelsey & David were going to have a different wedding, but the opportunity to move to Korea to teach English presented itself and plans changed! They quickly moved the wedding up and decided to have a smaller family wedding at Pine Knoll Shores. This was my kind of wedding; laid back, relaxed and just fun! Kelsey even wore cute little sneakers with her wedding dress! They stood on “the point” overlooking the beautiful Bogue Sound at sunset and exchanged their vows in front of those they love most. It was intimate and special. There were no stressful wedding timelines to adhere to and it showed in how calm Kelsey & David were. I only saw smiles, love, and excitement at this wedding. Kelsey’s diamond was her grandmother’s; reset to make it new and special for her. Her aunt gave her an embroidered piece of her grandmother’s wedding dress. The blue ring was a gorgeous heirloom ring worn by several of the ladies in her family.
Everyone was so relaxed while they got ready! Kelsey & David’s doggie daughter Roxie especially enjoyed her floral attire.
