Hey friends! Welcome to my website! I’m a natural light photographer
based in Rocky Mount NC. I enjoy taking relaxed pictures that capture
the true personality of my subjects. As someone who knows how
intimidating it can be in front of the camera, I try my best to make
everyone feel comfortable from behind the camera. I use light-hearted
and creative techniques to help you get comfortable and have some fun.
This lets me capture you in happy and authentic moments, allowing your
natural joy to shine in your photos!
I love to become quick friends with my subjects and consider our
sessions together a chance to get to know one another and have a good
time. My style as a photographer is very organic and I like to
prioritize laughter and quality photos in my sessions! With me, you
can let down your guard and just have fun, because I will be doing the
same with you!
Amanda grew up watching every single Disney movie ever made. As soon as I saw her and Jesse on Saturday, I immediately thought they looked like the perfect Disney prince and princess! Yes, they are beautiful on the outside, but they are good souls as well. Amanda is funny and sweet. Over the years that she and Jesse have dated, I’ve only heard wonderful things about him. I remember Amanda’s mom, Julie told me how impressed she was with him when they first started dating. I heard about how polite he was and how he was always willing to help. If I remember correctly, Julie said that SOMEBODY (if not Amanda) in their family had better marry him! Haha! Amanda & Jesse started dating in high school. Being married to my high school sweetheart myself, I love a good high school sweetheart success story! These two seem like such a perfect match. Jesse proposed last Christmas by putting the diamond ring in the Christmas tree while they were decorating. When it was time for the best man to give the officiant the wedding rings during the ceremony, he surprised us by going over and pulling them out of the church Christmas tree! When I did Amanda & Jesse’s engagement photos in March, we commented that it was a good thing that their wedding was not until December. We thought for sure things would be back to normal by then. We had no idea how things would go! This wedding was small, laid back, and intimate. We all (and I mean ALL) had fun taking pictures in the church courtyard prior to the ceremony. Then they had the most beautiful ceremony. Only the immediate family and a live stream camera. One day, these pictures of the bridal party wearing masks will surely be a piece of history. But I have to say, I think I love small weddings! There is less stress. Timelines don’t matter as much. It’s a beautiful thing. It was such a fun time and I’m thrilled that I was able to witness it firsthand. Congratulations you two & welcome to this crazy family, Jesse!
Duke United Memorial is such a beautiful church!
