Hey friends! Welcome to my website! I’m a natural light photographer
based in Rocky Mount NC. I enjoy taking relaxed pictures that capture
the true personality of my subjects. As someone who knows how
intimidating it can be in front of the camera, I try my best to make
everyone feel comfortable from behind the camera. I use light-hearted
and creative techniques to help you get comfortable and have some fun.
This lets me capture you in happy and authentic moments, allowing your
natural joy to shine in your photos!
I love to become quick friends with my subjects and consider our
sessions together a chance to get to know one another and have a good
time. My style as a photographer is very organic and I like to
prioritize laughter and quality photos in my sessions! With me, you
can let down your guard and just have fun, because I will be doing the
same with you!
Adam & Halie became boyfriend and girlfriend when they were 12 years old! I remember getting ice cream with them at Pit Stop when they first became a little couple. They were children! They have remained together ever since! I was at his mom’s house the night he face-timed her to let her know he was going to propose. They thought of many scenarios for the proposal including having her get pulled by a trooper (friend of Mitchell’s) and having Adam drop on one knee during the stop. Heehee. Mitchell got permission to do it in the governor’s mansion which was perfect especially since it was a crazy rainy day. We tracked Adam all day like Santa Claus. We didn’t know if it would happen because he kept running into travel obstacles (he was flying in from Texas). Finally, they arrived!! Their families hid in the kitchen and I hid in the bathroom. One of Mitchell’s wonderful trooper friends gave them a tour of the mansion. When they got to the ladies’ parlor, Adam got on one knee in front of that gorgeous tree and proposed! She was truly surprised!! Then all the family came out and celebrated with them. Here are the images to tell the story!!
